给 as a verb and coverb
I find the use of 给 quite tricky in chinese. It seems it can be positioned in many different places within a sentence... Can anybody give me a basic lesson on its usage?
Thanks

---this apple is for you.
--- this apple was eaten.
(it's NOT my fault)
well....... OMG!!! I have never realized that 给 is such a bi*ch......
Basically there are all rules about 给. If you don't understand some of them, tell me and I will explain.
