But it can also be translated as "debería..." or "en teoría..." therefore, "is it supposed to be cold in Monteverde?" can be translated as: - se supone que hace frío en Monteverde? or - en teoría, debería hacer frío en Monteverde? Also, "were we supposed to have a session today?" can be translated as: - "se suponía que hoy teníamos una sesión" or "en teoría, hoy teníamos una sesión". Hope it helps.
