luxingshe and luguan. the lu is the same character for both of them. luxingshe is travel agency and luguan is hotel.

1. If you wanted/intended to type the Pinyin, not the characters, I recommend you use Google Pinyin IME.

There is a soft keyboard or virtual keyboard on the IME, you can type all the Pinyin alphabets, of course including ǖǘǚǜü.

2. If you only want to type the characters, for example 旅行社lv xing she、旅馆lv guan, we normally use 'v' to substitute 'ü'. Because there is not 'ü ' in the keyboard.

On (most?) phones: Hold down the "u" button. It'll give you other options including "ü"
On the computer: Hold alt and type (I think) 129.
