'I love hanging out with someone my age.'
'People their ages are drinking in a restaurant '
I wonder whether the second phrase is correct, especially about the usage of "their ages"

You would say "people their age are drinking in a restaurant" :) you actually just taught me how to spell restaurant, which you'd think I would know, being a native speaker and all.
