whoeverとwhomeverの違いについて
同じ[～する人は誰でも]という意味ですがいまいち違いがはっきりしません。どういう時にwhoeverでどういう時にwhomeverなんでしょうか。

簡単に説明すると「Whoever」と「Whomever]は代名詞ですから、まずは文書の中で代名詞をどこに入れようかと考えて下さい。主語だったら、いつも「Whoever」になります。それ以外の場合では「Whomever」になります。例文を書きます。

"Whoever is responsible for the accident must pay the fine."
「Whoever」は主語ですね。

"Please give the gift to whomever you like."
この場合では「Whomever」は主語じゃなくて、前置詞の目的語です。
