How do I say, "I have a strawberry" in Arabic? Hi, can an Arabic speaker, please tell me which one of these sentences is acceptable? I have a strawberry/مَعِي حَبَّةُ فَرَاوْلَةٍ. I have a strawberry/مَعِي فَرَاوْلَةٌ. Also, why was "habbah حبّة" (seed) used in the first sentence? Why not just "faraawlah فراوْلة" (strawberry)? Alf shukran musabbaqan ألف شكرًا مسبّقًا (a thousand thanks) in advance for your answer! :) Side note: I got the first sentence from an online Arabic lesson.

For me, I understand them as: I have a seed of strawberry=مَعِي حَبَّةُ فَرَاوْلَةٍ. I have strawberry=مَعِي فَرَاوْلَة P.S: Nice "Tashkeel". :)
