Vacuum Can we say,,your husband left vacuum , ( he is missed and we feel that his space is really empty)

you would need an a, also typically it wasnt the person who left the vacume but their absense, so "your husbands departing/death/etc left a vacuum in our lives" However I think it is more typically to say left a hole/hollow in our lives.
