What does mean "it comes striped in a chill"? Hi everyone! I am working on an article for my essay, and I can't understand the meaning of the following sentence: "it comes striped in a chill that Beckett or Ionesco would well understand." Could you help me with this please?

Is that the actually quote because it doesn't make much sense at all.

It doesn't make any sense to me, I'm afraid.

Yes, the "it" refers to "the absurdist situation". This is a paper about a play by Caryl Churchill, and it studies how influenced by the theatre of the Absurd is it.

Can you give us more context? For example, what does the 'it' refer to?

Yes, that's the actually quote! That's strange... Thank you anyway!
