"powder snow" in Mandarin
There is a type of snow called powder snow. What is the translation in Chinese?
Somehow, 粉雪 doesn't sound quite right.I should provide a description:
"Powder is freshly fallen, untouched, soft snow. Powder, tiny flakes and crystals form the smooth and soft surface in mountains. It forms a soft smooth surface that will give you the feeling that you are floating in a weightless environment. "

粉状雪?

It was tough but I eventually chose 粉状雪. I looked up images of each of the suggestions and 粉状雪 easily had the most pictures of people skiing which is where powder snow is most frequently referred to. Thank you everybody for the suggestions.
