Difference between ‘It's 2 km’ and ‘It's 2 km away’?
If asked 'Is it far?', can I answer both of them? And can you explain the use of 'away' briefly?
Thank you very much!!

It's 2km away from here.
It's 2km away.
It's 2km.
2km.
I may be wrong but I would think "It's 2km away " is just a contracted form of the sentence.
