impact vs influence
Is there a difference between "impact" and "influence'?
How do I use these words in context?
May you give some examples please?

"impact" usually suggests an event that changed something in a large way, and not voluntarily:
"The market downturn impacted our sales."
"Mobile phones have impacted everyday life in a way nobody could have foreseen."
"influence" suggests that a person or thing had an effect on you or some process, that
was (at least somewhat) voluntary, or sometimes suggest that it only one of
many factors affecting the process.
"His new book was influenced by current events."
"The market downturn influenced our future marketing plans."
"Changes in solar radiation have a major influence on wheat production." Notice
here that there no suggestion that the effect is voluntary, since it is natural, but that
it is not the only factor causing the effect. (By the way, I made this sentence up, I don't know anything
about wheat production!)

Hi Gabi,
I'm going to keep this simple with examples. Politicians try to influence voters.
Think "Brexit"! The result of the election causes an "impact", that is, governrment polices must change.
