hello
What is the difference between 'vehicle' and 'craft'?
In my dictionary, 'vehicle' means 'something used for travel', and 'craft means a ship. boat, or an airplane. I am really confused with these words.

A vehicle usually means something which travels on wheels. So cars, buses, and lorries would all be vehicles. Ships, boats or planes do not use wheels to travel and so are all crafts. I know planes have wheels but that is not their principal means of movement. A problem arises with things which can go on land and water, but if they have wheels they are usually called 'amphibious vehicles' and if they don't, like hovercraft, they are called craft. Hope that helps.
