Example of the use of ´´Já´´ used as already and Now: .I have already gone to the market this morning-Eu já fui ao mercado de manhã. .Go to the market right now-Vá ao mecado já. PS:note that in the first sentence já means something that has already been done, while in the second sentence it means the order of doing something imeddiately. Hope I have helped!

As you already know the two basic uses of the word, check out some examples: Eu já fiz a lição de casa. -- I've already done/finished my homework. Eles já estiveram em Londres. -- They've been in/to London already. Eu estou indo já. -- I'm coming right now. Eles vão te chamar já já (emphatic)/já. -- They're going to call you in a few seconds/in a while. Você está pronto? Ok. 1, 2, 3... Já! -- Are you ready? Ok. 1, 2, 3... Go! You might notice that you can apply this word to different situations, past, present and near future. Its meaning depends entirely on the context. I hope I've helped you and feel free to ask anything else! :)
