“照相”与“照像”有本质区别吗？

Though both of them all means take pictures in the dictionary, most people use相片、照相more than 像片、照像。
Even when you ask the native speakers, some will regard 相片、照相 as the correct word.

照相 =take Photo
照像 =picture or video.A lot of Chinese people can't be distinguished.

照像 isn't correct.
照相 is correct.
But if you use 照像,we can also understand what you want to say.
