What difference between considerable and significant? What difference between considerable and significant?

It depends on the context. In the sentences below, there is no real difference in meaning: "There is a considerable difference between North and South Korea." "There are significant differences between North and South Korea." But the word significant can be used to mean "important. "This was a significant moment in the match." The word "considerable," cannot be used in the sentence above - it would make no sense at all.
