좀 can mean many things depending on the context
- some
- a little
- for a short while
the verb combination 갔다 오다 = 가다 + 오다 is a very common one for taking a short visit/break.
편의점 좀 갔다 올게: I'm going to the convenience store (and I'll be back in a short while)
