It's the test question from the http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/
"It was only ten days ago ...... she started her new job. (since, that, etc.?)".
The correct answer is 'that'.
Why can't we say "It was only ten days ago 'since' she started her new job"?

In a case like this, if you use "since", then the sentence must be, "It's been only ten days since..."
