has or has got? I haven't got a car, but my sister ______. --->has or has got? Do they both make sense? In a grammar book, I found this question. Ans: has But why 'has got' should not be considered as correct?

Usually Has Got is used when talking about a possession and relationships answering in the affirmative, negative or when asking a question. I think he has a brother. Yes he has got a brother. I am going to have that car one day. Keep dreaming, you haven't got one yet. Do you have a bicycle? Have you got a bicycle?
