Or are there more precise verbs that can express pushing something to the inside by hitting on it? Thanks!

To hit, or to crash into something. hit (verb) = to move quickly onto an object or surface, touching it with force e.g. Hit the ball crash (verb) = to hit something hard, making a loud noise and often causing damage e.g. The car crashed into a bus.
