Translating a joke Hi everyone! I guess it's a stupid question, but could somebody please help me to translate a joke? I want to say that the therapy is dreadful but it's okay because it's really difficult to get it anyway (I'm not serious, of course). So far I came up with something like: "I think the danger of the therapy is partly offset by inaccessibility of health services", but it doesn't sound right... Could somebody help me to phrase it properly, please? P.S. For those who speak Russian: "По-моему, опасность местной медицины нивелируется ее труднодоступностью"

How about, "If the medical treatment doesn't kill you, the wait will." Vice versa is even funnier: "If the wait doesn't kill you, the treatment will."

'... the treatment is dreadful but it's okay because it's really difficult to get it anyway.' Actually, it's fine as it is and delightfully cynical! You could add '..if you don't die waiting!' :-)
