女と男のことば hello! Right now I'm writing a coursework about gender differences in Japanese language. And I'm struggling with lexical aspect. I knew there isn't much differences in word usage, but all I could find - おなか/はら、食べる⁄食う、and おいしい⁄うまい It can't be just this three, right?

Just with lexical aspect? We have many gender differences especially in spoken language. We use different pronouns, final particles, prefixes and interjections. As far as “lexical aspect” concerns, there would be 「お父さん/おやじ」 「お母さん/おふくろ」 「お兄さん/アニキ」 「お姉さん/アネキ」(「アニキ」 and 「アネキ」 can be used in different contexts) 「おなかがすく/腹が減る」 「彼/あいつ」 「あなた/お前」 But nowadays especially among young people their speech patterns are being neutralized in some parts.

In Japanese, the ending of the word is often changed. For example 「綺麗だわ(women)/綺麗だ(men)」, 「美味しそうだわ/美味しそう(うまそう)」 Those 3 examples are porite form or not ,In my thought. I hope these will help you learn Japanese.
