Well, remember is when you think of a memory ( a past experience )
For example: Do you remember what happened yesterday?
Meanwhile remind is when a person or a thing makes you think about something
For example: the secretary reminded the manager that he has a meeting at 4:00 o'clock
Hope this helps! :)
