"You heard wrong" or "You heard it wrong", are these correct.
I said something to my son but he couldn't catch properly and misunderstood what I told him. In this context, are the below sentences correct?
- You heard wrong
- You heard it wrong

"You heard (me) wrong," or "You misheard (me)."

Both are correct. One is more specific.
"You heard wrong" -- You heard 'something' wrong
"You heard it wrong" -- You heard 'a particular thing' wrong
I think more often you would hear:
"You heard me wrong" -- You heard 'what I said' wrong
