How do you say this another way?
I am in suspense.
Does it mean;
I can't make a decision.

I am anxious.
I really want to know what happened.
I am excited to know something.
I can't wait to find out.
I am waiting with excitement.
It doesn't usually mean "I can't make a decision." It usually means there's something you don't know yet (like a book gets you excited or worried to know the end) and you can't do much until you know.
Sometimes you DO have to make a decision, but being in suspense means everything has to stop while you wait.
'Suspension' is the word 'suspense' comes from, and it means everything has come to a halt, or is being 'held up' (like a suspension bridge)
'In suspense' often means you're waiting to find out if the ending is good or bad. "Did I get the job? I'm in suspense!"
