“我当时瞎了眼”这句话应该不是比喻。应该是夸张的手法（Hyperbole）。e.g I've told you a million times. Actually, He/She didn't say a million times and He/She just want to emphasize something.

hey, dude, '瞎了眼' means that someone is so blind that he believes sth or other's words, his eyes is OK. so it's just a metaphor.
