일 뿐이다 vs 뿐이다
I’ve heard from a source that 일 뿐이다 and 뿐이다 have slightly different meanings. Although they both mean “just,” I was told that 일 뿐이다 has a negative connotation and that you only use it in moments where your sentence is negative.
라면일 뿐이다 = It’s just ramen (as in, ramen is nothing fancy)
Am I right? If not, please correct me. Thank you.

I think they are both mean the same thing.
일 뿐이다 is simply just 이다 + ㄹ뿐이다.
the grammar here is ㄹ뿐이다, to mean "just". You can just use an "adverb" 그냥, or shortened as 걍
