Do native speakers say "gently" to tell the other to do it more gentler e.g. wipe my wound
1. Mom is wiping my wound and it hurts so I tell her to be gentle and not rub too hard. Can I say " Gently, gently. It hurts"
2. I get a sick friend to sit up so I support him and I say "Gently" to mean slowly rise?
Are these correct? What would you say otherwise?
