Tuteur communautaireBe familiar with or become familiar with?
Would you like to help me distinguish between those tow phrases: be familiar with, and become familiar with?
What're the differences ?

Hi,
To be familiar with is current. It's done.
To become familiar with indicates a process ending in "being familiar with".
An intermediate learner is familiar. A beginner is becoming familiar.
I hope this helps,
Stephen

Lawrence,
Do you know how to follow the post on Italki ?
I mean, if I like your question and wait the answer, how can I know that someone comment on your post. Now, I have to find it again in a long list of questions and check whether anyone answered or not ?
