The difference between embellishment & embroidery
I notice from some photos that embellishment is adding some ornamental materials, like beads or so; while embroidery is a set of thread stitched to form different shapes like flower, etc. Am I wrong? Please correct any mistakes and thanks in advance.

embellishment:
a decoration or other addition that is intended to make something more beautiful or interesting
for exemple: Good pasta needs very little embellishment.
a 16th century church with 18th century embellishments
embroidery:
patterns that are sewn onto cloth using threads of various colours; cloth that is decorated in this way
a beautiful piece of embroidery
Indian embroideries
the skill or activity of decorating cloth in this way
I hope to help.

Embroidery is a form of embellisment, but not all embellishment is embroidery.

You are correct - embellishments are usually small, added decorations of many different kinds, whereas embroidery only refers to decorative sewing.
Note: We can also use "embellish" in an abstract way, as in, "He embellished his story," meaning he added some extra "decorative" details to make the story more interesting, but which might not be totally true or factual.
