something abut prefix fore- As you can see, my network nickname has a prefix "fore-", and I understand that "fore-" has the meaning of "in front of" or "something that has only partially arrived or fulfilled". And the reason I use this prefix for nicknames is to express that I want to do my best to stay in the forefront, whether in the field where I work or between my peers. By using this prefix, I also want to express my hope that I can be keenly aware of upcoming opportunities or discover trends in the times. I seem to be a bit boastful, don't laugh at me LOL. So my question is, although I know that a small prefix can't express so much meaning, but I want to know if the word "fore-" is completely inconsistent with what I want to express? Or, the meanings I just said are plausible, that is to say, I did not completely misinterpret it?

The answer is yes and no. When applied to an abstract suffix, fore- does everything you want: foresight, forefront, forewarning, foremost, perfect. The problem is that fore- also works with concrete suffixes e.g. forehead or foremast, and means literally in front, or at the front of, in a rsther uninteresting way. A tab is a small projecting flap, strip or lug; a foretab would b one protruding from the front of something: i picture it as something small. maybe made of plastic.
