The Palace Museum and the Great Wall, the two world-famous scenic spots, are know to all a must tourist destination for people visiting Beijing.

Is 'a must tourist destination' used above OK? If it is correct, say from grammar, does 'a must' sound too enforcing? Are the expressions like must-see and must-visit better?

I read the sentence from a textbook written by old Chinese scholars. No offense, but frankly I don't believe them, so I'd like opinions from native speakers.

Your instinct is correct . A must tourist destination is misused here. The use of must as an adjective is supposed to sound enforcing. It should be used in a short declarative sentence like this: 
The Great Wall of China is a must destination. 
Using it in a complex sentence like the sentence from the textbook is out of place and even confusing. If you want to rewrite it, must-see or must-visit would definitely sound better, though the sentence has other grammatical and stylistic problems.

must -see means a remarkable sight that should be seen and is worse visiting
That is the one mostly used .
"Must tourist" is completely wrong and never used ,must be a typing error.

a must destination, does not sound right at all. a must see, sounds the best but a must visit also works just as well
