How do I say "Why are you here?" without sounding rude?
For example,
I'm in my bedroom and suddenly my uncle just walks in. I ask "Why are you here?"
I think it sounds rude.
Is there a better way to say this?
Thank you.

I would say “what brings you here?”

Maybe it balances the rudeness of walking into someone’s bedroom? Saying he “just walks in” implies that he didn’t knock or announce himself. Maybe this isn’t what you mean?
