"Schools and theatres are different in size, shape, and purpose. Schools can be much bigger than theatres, although some old theatres are very big and grand. Schools tend to be split into many smaller buildings with a playground in the middle. Finally, schools are for education while theatres are to entertain people."

Ok, here's a quick try. Hope it helps a little :) If I were doing the text for myself I would rework it a bit more, this is like a first draft. I just wanted to give you an idea and not make it too complex. The design of a school and a theatre differ in several ways. Let's first look at lighting and ventilation. In a school, the aim is to design and plan the rooms to be as naturally bright as possible to foster a good teaching environment. Windows that open on to a natural environment are preferred for lighting and ventilation. And where natural lighting is insufficient, artificial lighting should be provided. In contrast, in a theatre we want less light to enable better viewing of movies. So here, unlike the school, we design the building with the goal of making the rooms darker. We want little or no windows where natural light can enter. In addition, in a theatre all ventilation will be provided through artificial means and none through the provisioning of windows. This is unlike the school building where windows will be designed to assist not only lighting, but ventilation as well.

Wow. That's architecture, not English.
