What is the difference between 이가 아프다 and 치통이 있다? Which is used more?

They are identical in meaning. The latter is from Chinese word so it's kind of pedantic and way less used. Using Chinese word in a colloquial speech is like saying Latin words in an everyday conversation in English. I guess the most frequently used one might be "이빨이 아파요". They surely know 이빨 is not the correct form of the word for human teeth but the people could care less about it. <- Like this. You use "[couldn't/could] care less" about 50/50 right?
