"Don't dare to touch" or "touching"?
I always have troubles determining if I have to use to +. Infinitive or rather verb + ~ing in such sentences. So.. should one say:
A) Don't dare to touch it, it's hot!
B) Don't dare touching it, it's hot!

Interesting, in the positive form of a command, we would say "I dare you *to* touch it!", but in the negative, "Don't you dare touch it!"

I think it is the same itsnt?

(A) correct; however, it will sound more natural to say, "Don't dare touch it, it's hot!"
(B) is incorrect
Dare is an odd verb that has lost "to" in many instances. For example, we would say:
"You need to eat it."
BUT
"Don't dare eat it, it is too much."
