I'll call you 10 minutes before. I'm on my way from point A to point B. Someone's waiting for me at point B. So can I say the following to let him know that I'll call him when I'm 10 minutes away from point B: "I'll call you 10 minutes before I get there." Is it correct and would a native speaker say it like this?

Yes, that's correct. I think I would say "I'll call you when I'm 10 minutes away". That's a little more idiomatic.
