Most people consider the office working hours are normal jobs. In GB, it is 9:00 A.M-5:00 P.M monday to friday, and 9:00AM -1:00PM on saturday with sunday off. In US, it is 8:00 AM -5:00PM, monday to friday with saturday and sunday off.

Hello Jack Liu,
It depends entirely in what context this sentence is said.
You could add parts of the conversation where you heard it said or the text where you read it.
The word "normal" has so many connotations and synonyms that the meaning could vary, it could mean:

In this case a normal job will be a socially accepted and approved occupation.

Such a job is legally and ethically widely accepted.
* average:
An average paid job for example, where one doesn't hold a high position.
* common:
A job that doesn't require special expertise ,experience or qualifications.
A simple job such as being a carpenter or plumber etc..
* typical :
A 9am to 5pm job * as Jura mentioned it *
* unexceptional:
A job that doesn't require unexceptional qualifications nor pays unexceptional salaries.
* widespread, prevalent:
A job everyone can do ,a very general, usual ,unremarkable job.
* routine:
A job with repetitive monotonous tasks like type writing ,cashiers or working in assembly lines.
* middle-class:
It could be also jobs related to middle classes, what concerns status , salary ,rank and its required qualifications.

Hmm....what is an abnormal job?
For me normal means: I got payed in time and have opprotunities to grow up. Good job - 'normal job' + it should be interesting and challenging. Perfect job - when you don't work at all but you have salary without obligation.
