Without seeing the whole dialogue, the first part is probably in the form "Whenever X, I just get this craving..."
craving = a strong desire to eat, drink or do something

The person is saying that she really wants to eat Kung Pao Chicken at that moment (probably because of something that was said or done earlier that triggered that desire).
