Do I use the verb “drag” correctly?
1. Why always when I am in a hurry your car just drags?
2. You should sort out with this controversial situation by yourself. Don’t try to drag me into this.
3. Look, our dog dragged a ball from neighboring yard.

Am I using the verb "drag" correctly
2 is definitely right.
3 is not quite right because we usually use the word "drag" when something is being pulled that doesn't move easily so the dig would *bring* a ball from the garden, but it might *drag* a picnic blanket it found, for example.
1 is trickier. I don't think I would ever use it in this context but maybe an American would (?) I think the only use I can think of for drag as an intransitive verb would be to refer to time. "The meeting dragged on for two hours" for example.
