Are there any resources that teach dialects in Arabic? All the resources I am using teach MSA. I'd like to learn a dialect because my ultimate goal is to communicate with people. I would like to learn Egyptian Arabic.

Lonely Planet has a phrasebook for Egyptian Arabic that seems quite well off; and, Language Pod 101 uses Egyptian Arabic in their online resources, as well, especially the Youtube videos. Good luck! x

Hey bub,

Linguaphone and Colloquial both have Egyptian Arabic courses. There are also Kallimni Arabi and Kullu Taman courses and of course Youtube. I have 18Gigs worth of Arabic material I would share, just not sure how to go about it. J
