Better to type long texts in “notebooks” anyway: Generation gap (singular) is commonly seen in contemporary society especially between millennials and aging generations. In order to trace its roots, the biggest factor that has heavily influenced generation gap is the accelerating rate of changes in society. As younger generations grow up with technological advances and exposure to new ideas and culture, they become separated (or alienated) from the previous generation in terms of psyche and views. Therefore, the differences in opinions, outlooks and preferences become inevitable facts, causing the (appearance is not the right word) emergence of generational clashes. Unfortunately, generation gaps directly fuel misunderstandings and lead to less communication (owing is not a good word) due to different values and views. For example, parents or grandparents usually struggle to understand their children’s point-of-view in reference to their own experience. Children, along the same line, have no intention of respecting elder’s “sermon”, trying to live their lives with their own wisdom. However, every cloud has its silver lining. The generation gap could also be an opportunity to learn novelty if people get it right (or you can say: approach it properly). Since newer generations are always discerned to fashion and novelty, elders could turn to them for help to grasp the modern tastes, from which youngsters could also learn how old people think differently about the modern trends. Although the generation gap is inevitable, the name of the game is to accept and embrace the differences, thereby (filling is very physical ) bridging the gap through respect and mutual understanding.
