Russian: Listening to the Radio
Have I translated my American English to Russian correctly, does it sound natural, and is the word order correct too?
Their father listens to the radio in the kitchen every morning.
= Каждое утро, их отец слушает радио на кухне.
*** Also... in Russian, is "radio" actually a direct object? Apparently in English, it is actually an indirect object. So it seems like our two languages assign a different grammatical role to "radio" here. Hmmm.
