Cashier or could be a bank teller.
In banking, there is a machine called a money counter that when loaded with paper money, counts it. As opposed to a coin changer that counts coins for exchange to a larger denomination in paper money (hence changer of coins).

I think the closest job that involves "money counting" is a Cashier.
However, if you use the "money counter" as metaphor, I bet mecland is right for "moneygrubber" (also 'moneymaker'!
