It has a few meanings:
1. to continue doing something
2. to behave in an unfavourable way
3. to take or transport something on to something
There are possibly more too, but these are the main ones which spring to mind.
EDIT: Somebody gave me -1. I've only been teaching English for 10 years, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about?

it means go on doing something.perhaps when you do it,you will put it aside and do other things,later you continue doing it.have you got it?

It means "to continue to do something."
Examples:
"He carried on talking after everyone stopped listening."
"Don't stop what you're doing. Carry on!"
