Is there a Japanese saying equivalent to ' Drown my/your sorrows'?
Drown my sorrows, means that someone will drink a lot of alcohol because they feel upset, it imply's that the pain will disappear under the drink, they wont feel it any more if they drink enough. we can say it about ourself or others, ie: I am going to drown my sorrows. He spent the evening drowning his sorrows.

酒 sake alcohol
飲んで nonde drink
憂さ usa sorrow
晴らす harasu release
憂さ晴らし(usa barasi not usa harasi in this case)
