traditions.. they mean a lot to me now, when we are young they don't, but when we grow up they can be very important to us cause they make us happy, happiness that we share with others loved ones. & it is a very beautiful thing to work on them it is family thing, country thing..haha but, it's all about love..!. every country should have its own traditions & be proud about them, they express high-bred & they do never go against technology & civilization but they are like the base without them we can't go above.

Tradition to me means carrying on an idea or symbol which has significance, be it in my family or from my religion. Passing it down from generation to generation.

part of my culture , as long as it doesn't conflict with my religion.

Your question would sound better written this way; What does tradition mean to you? I follow quite a few of my Lithuanian parents' traditions especially at Easter and Christmas. There are also various Australian customs. Since Australia is a multicultural nation there are many festivals people can enjoy and celebrate all year round.
