In what cases each of them may be used? The same about quickly / fast / rapidly.

Quick= completed in a short amount of time. He was quick to finish his work/ He finished his work quickly
Rapid= moving or occurring speedily, swift, (usually involves speed). The river was flowing at a rapid rate and rapidly overflowed its banks.
Fast= happening quickly, although usually used in comparison to something else. I was worried because the town was flooding so fast that people couldn't escape.
