firstly,i want to crrect a mistake of you. The pronunciation of 去 is qù, and it is not qú. It means go to someplace. 走,it is means someone' foot moved, like the meaning of walk.

Maybe i'll enlighten u from a angle of Deutsch as i notice that u'r also learning German now.
"去" always underlines an action direction. For example, "Ich gehe zum Bahnhof", i bet u know the meaning, right? So "gehe zum" equals to "去" whose direction is showed by the pronunciation "zu". If the verb "gehe" without "zum", it just indicates an simple action, which equals to "走"

If you say to sb. "去吧",then you don't go, but sb. leave. If you say to sb. "走吧" ,in many cases, both of you go together.
