What does "Keep up the pace." mean?

'Keep up the pace' means to continue doing something at the same speed or intensity as you have been doing or to go at the same rate as others and not fall behind. Both can be used to describe physical movement or in a metaphoric sense to refer to the pace of work, life, success, achievement etc

To move as quickly as someone else. "Pace" could literally refer to walking, or could be a metaphor for working hard, participating equally, etc.
