You have to have the will and determination to learn it , whether German or any other language. Your motive has to be strong enough as well. If you don't need German at all in your practical life,it will be harder for you to pursue learning it. So combine a good reason to learn it with the will to persist on pursuing your goal and Viel Glück :)
